Well, there's no point in railing against it when the scripts for the followup season were done months and months ago.

And, of course, there's the fact that it's not aimed at fans who might care about her being different. Hasbro probably has a good lock on their target audience.

I applaud (and approve of!) your precise wording, though: Lack of opposition may simply be acceptance of the current 'State of Pony,' but does not equate to approval.
