excuse me, when I'm in step 6, everything seems to be fine until I apply the blur, then it looks like the blur is cut of into a square... not sure if you can help me with this?

I know that there is a solution to this in Adobe Illustrator (I would recommend asking mewtwo-EX about it), but in Inkscape, I honestly don't know. It happened to me a few times, and I never knew what caused it. The only possible cause I could think of would be if you unknowingly applied clipping to it, but it's probably not it...

I see. Thank you anyway :) It may be a bug or something. Thank you for your tutorial, by the way!
