Just my entry for the icon contest on the MLP-FiM group. I tried to keep it simplistic yet elegant - the major intention was to create something in similar manner like deviantArt icon, but in the scroll version (scroll texture used: [link]), with inclusion of the group's name and some fitting symbol. At first I intended to use the symbol of Portal-like Pinkie Pie (like here: [link]), but it didn't work too well, so in the end, I decided to use Twilight's cutie mark instead - and I think it works even better, considering how it represents the six Elements of Harmony and therefore the Main Cast itself.

This icon was created specifically for group. Please do not use it anywhere else.
Based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic by Lauren Faust.

Very nice icon. If you don't end up winning the contest, would it be alright for me to use this for my own MLP group?

It's a very old icon, and I already won the contest back then, but they made a second contest some time later, and I lost.

It's kinda still in use by #iPonies group (although quite altered), so I have a feeling you will need to ask =DarkVoxis (the group's founder) for his permission too. I personally wouldn't mind, though.

Ah! I didn't know this was yours. I liked this one more than all the others, although the one they're using now is also really awesome and was the only one I thought would be a suitable replacement, although I don't know why they wanted to change it in the first place.

From what I know, the second contest was dedicated for people who missed the second one, and many did, which is probably why there were only 3 submissions during the first one. I'm sad that I did not win this time, but oh well. I had my moment of glory, and DarkVoxis said that they're going to switch between icons from time to time.

Anyway: I'm glad you like the icon.

Fenomenalny pomysł! Kciuk w górę za czytelną czcionkę, przyjemną teksturę i jeszcze nawiązanie do serialu przez cutie mark Twilight. Tak bardzo wyróżnia się pośród tanich ikonek ze zdjęcia (najczęściej jeszcze rozciągniętego bez zachowania proporcji) z nieczytelnym tekstem. 8D

Jeśli o czcionkę chodzi, to są to po prostu przerobione literki z oficjalnego loga serialu - początkowo chciałem dać "My Little Pony" w całości i tylko "FiM" zostawić jako skrót, ale nie wyglądało to ani dobrze ani czytelnie, dlatego ostatecznie stanęło na o takim ułożeniu (przyznam, że eksperymentalnym).

Istotnie, to trochę irytujące widzieć tyle różnych wycinek i screenshotów o słabej jakości.

Myślałby kto, że można się trochę bardziej postarać.
